All about
our Veterinarian
|
Dr. Verna Waters
graduated from the Washington State University College
of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She has been a
researcher, associate professor, and an editor of a
professional veterinary journal. She practiced
veterinary medicine in several states before deciding to
call Illinois her home. Prior to settling in at the
Sycamore Animal Hospital in 2008, she practiced in the
Fox Valley area for 8 years. She enjoys spending time
with her family as well as her 2 dogs, Yogi and Libby. |

All about
our Staff

Sam
joined the staff in 2003. She assists the doctors in
examinations, surgery, radiology, and performing lab
tests. She graduated from Aurora University with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Science. When Sam is
not at work, she enjoys spending her free time with her
family and friends, as well as her 2 dachshunds, Buddy
and Toby. |

Lisa joined the SAH team in
2010. Lisa began working as a veterinary
receptionist/assistant in 2003. She received an
Associate's Degree in applied science from Southern
Illinois University. Lisa is a dedicated animal lover
and has rescued many animals in need of a home. When not
working, Lisa enjoys being home with her husband, Don,
and dogs Ike, Sassy, Missy, and Bella (not pictured).
Lisa and Don also have a bearded dragon and parakeets. We are very
pleased Lisa has joined our SAH family! |

Erin joined our SAH family in 2009, while pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Illinois. Erin just completed her BS in May of 2011, and we are so proud to announce her acceptance into Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2015! (Way to go!!) When not working or studying (or making us laugh), Erin enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and of course having fun with her dogs, Harley
and Nemi (not pictured).

Lindsay joined the SAH team in October of 2011, and we are thrilled to have her! Among Lindsay’s many talents, she is outgoing, has a great sense of humor, and loves everyone’s animal friends! Lindsay was recently married, and enjoys spending her free time with her loving husband, their families, and of course her pups Ellie
and Josie (not pictured). Please help us welcome Lindsay to our family!
